Space Jam Studio is a full-service recording environment designed to allow artists to achieve high-quality recordings at a budget they can afford. Located in the basement of a Bushwick rowhouse, it provides a homey, low-pressure creative environment while boasting top-of-the-line front end, a selection of industry standard microphones, and numerous instruments, amplifiers, and effects that allow for fun and experimentation. At the core of Space Jam is a 23’x18’x8.5’ live room, well-suited to recording drums, amps, or acoustic instruments of any kind. Two additional closet spaces provide space to set up amplifiers or instruments for artists who might wish to track multiple instruments or voices live while maintaining maximum sonic isolation between elements. Space Jam is a control-room-less recording environment, allowing engineer and artist to seamlessly collaborate without a physical barrier.
